Data You Give Us Directly
Information typed into a search widget, such as a name, phone number, or address, is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. This service does not keep a copy of those searches on its own servers. If you contact the operators, the message and any details it contains are used to read and answer that message.
Data We Gather Automatically
Hosting services may record ordinary technical details: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. Those logs can be reviewed in aggregate to maintain the service and understand which reference pages are useful. Basic analytics or advertising measurement may use cookies or similar tools when those tools are enabled by the relevant provider.
How We Use This Data
Information is used to operate the reference service, address technical faults, measure traffic, and improve the pages. The operators do not sell visitor lists or build individual profiles from the small amount of information described here.
Links to Other Websites
The pages link to Riverside ACR, La Quinta, California, court, library, archive, and other third-party resources. Once a person follows one of those links, that provider’s privacy notice governs what is submitted and how the provider handles it. Sponsored search results are also supplied by a separate company, not by the operators of this reference.
Who May Receive Information
Hosting and technical service providers may process the server-log data needed to run the pages. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Information may also be disclosed when a valid legal process requires it. No other routine disclosure of a visitor list is intended.
How We Protect Information
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described above. There are no user accounts, passwords, or personal profiles hosted here. No security system can promise absolute protection, so a person should avoid placing sensitive information in a message that does not need it.
Users Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. The operators do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a minor sent information, use the Contact page to request review and deletion of information held in the contact mailbox or logs.
California Data Rights
California’s Consumer Privacy Act, Civil Code sections 1798.100 and following, as amended by the CPRA, provides covered consumers rights to know, delete with exceptions, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, use Global Privacy Control, and limit certain sensitive-information uses. The DELETE Act, Civil Code sections 1798.99.80 and following, created the DROP platform for registered data-broker deletion and opt-out requests beginning in January 2026.
Because this service keeps little direct information, a request usually involves searching the contact mailbox and available server logs. Use the Contact page to make a request. Public records held by the State of California, Riverside County, the City of La Quinta, ACR, or a court are outside this service’s control. Publicly available government-record information can also fall within statutory exceptions. Deletion from a private copy does not erase the official record.
Updates to This Policy
Changes will be posted on this page with the revised policy. Continuing to use La Quinta Residents Directory after a change indicates acceptance of the updated text to the extent permitted by law.
